Tracey Harley

 

Background

Tracey is our Office Manager and the second Director at Harley Financial Services. She ensures the office runs smoothly and deals with the day to day responsibilities of running a successful financial planning firm. Prior to joining us, Tracey’s background was in legal services, having worked with 2 of the major law firms in Scotland. Her combined knowledge of legal and financial services is therefore a valuable asset to our team.

Why my job is important

“It’s my job to ensure that the other members of staff carry out theirs and have the necessary resources and support to do this. I am also responsible for monitoring, invoicing and collecting client fees. Basically I deal with all aspects of the day to day running of the business so that the rest of the team are free to concentrate on advising clients and developing our professional connections.”

Top Tip

“Choose a Chartered firm to ensure you are working with planners at the top of their game and then allow your planner to take a holistic view of your finances. Don’t just think of them as the guy that looks after your pension or investments.”

Personal Life

Married to Douglas and has two daughters. Very much a social creature, Tracey enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Shopping trips are a particular favourite and she is now passing on her expert knowledge of that to her daughters, including how to sneak the new purchases past Douglas and into their wardrobe. “What that old thing, I’ve had that for ages.”
